HoopPretty is made up of two sisters, Barbra & Rachel.
Creators & Performers
We are based in Brew City, Milwaukee and have backgrounds in fashion, illustration, + graphic design and a nearly insane passion for hoop dance. Being hoopsters, we create designs that reflect the fun, freedom + attitude of hoop dance.
Ever since we were little we would get together and put on shows. We would create costumes, personas and the little accoutrement to go along with the shows such as the playbill and construction paper cutouts for the sets. Sometimes we’d even make up stupid, nonsensical songs. After we found hooping, it only seemed natural to partner-up and create HoopPretty, a line of cute t-shirts and doodads for hoop dance and circus arts freaks. We love to create and help people show their love of hoop dance.
Quality Stuffs
We use environmentally-safe methods of printing & make sure our printers and suppliers are just as sensitive to the environmental impacts of production. In fact, our shirts are made individually and by hand. (Not by us, but by people in the good ol’ USA.) You can be sure that every HoopPretty goodie is therefore top quality + will survive the test of hooping time! If we wouldn’t love to wear it or show it off, we don’t offer it.
Community-Oriented
To most of us hoop dancers, the best thing about hooping is the amazing community of diverse people that surround it. When you purchase something from HoopPretty, you are supporting people passionate about hoop dance and flow arts, a whole community of hoop dancers and a family business. We also like to give back the community whether it be through sponsorships or charity events.
