It’s winter.

A good time to work on your indoor waist-hooping, since it doesn’t require a lot of space. Plus, there’s something very soothing about the rhythmic movement of waist-hooping.

Some of you may or may not know but I recently moved to Washington, DC ~ far away from Rachel, my sister and hoop partner in crime.  (She and our mom will be visiting this weekend tho! Yeepees! Watch out, Capitol!)

A fresh start in a big city felt like I needed to revisit hooping on a very basic level.

So, in our tiny DC apartment, I shoved aside the kitchen table and created a little tutorial for all those beginners out there wanting to give “hula hooping” a swing. It’s part tutorial, part dorkiness. Cuz that’s how I do videos, apparently.
